Motorbikes are more powerful and agile than ever and even, when you take into factors like inflation and import taxes, less expensive that they have ever been. Along with the collapse of import restrictions these factors mean we’re now living in an age where bikers get access to some of the best equipment and it’s now almost normal for the track rider to have a dedicated track bike – and not just for racing. Take a look at any paddock at any trackday and the biggest difference from 10 years ago is the ratio of track dedicated bikes to road ones.
